Baby food jar dispenser. If you need extra space for all the baby food jars and you have limited space in your closets/pantries make your own baby food jar dispensers. I used a free cardboard tube from my local hardware. Make sure the jar fits into the tube before the tube is cut. Attach an s hook to the ends of the tube and attach rope to the hooks to hang from shelf.

Small slotted spoon: Laura, my wife likes cereal without a lot of milk. Instead of buying a small slotted spoon, drill 2 small holes into the spoon of your choice. I choose one from our college days. Remember to sand the spoon the remove any burs.

I-Pod Audio Translator

I-Pod translator: Picture it. You are working at a hospital ER. In comes an older couple speaking Spanish/Italian/Arabic, you name it. Not knowing the language and without a translator at the hospital what do you do? What if you could communicate with the couple? What if you could press a few buttons and be able to communicate phrases such as Point to where it hurts, Write down your name. What if you could press a few buttons and the couple would be able to hear in their own language helpful life saving phrases. Add a simple diagram with pics of the human body, diff substances/drugs/ weapons etc so that a patient could point to these also. How it could work. The medical professional writes down the phrases that would be helpful. Questions and commands have to be written so that the patient points or follows a command. Ex point to where it hurts, instead of where it hurts. Or point to diagram.
A person fluent in Spanish, Italian, Arabic etc translates them and records them directly onto the I-Pod. Order the phrases/tracks on I-tunes. Ex Make a playlist of specific questions. Attach a speaker to I-Pod. Click on phrase you want to communicate and the patient hears in their language what they need to do.
How this could be helpful: Be able to start treatment until a translator arrives. Put patient at ease hearing commands in their language. A medical professional could have on one I-Pod hundreds of languages.

How to make your own Moleskine(R) Cahiers

I love these notebooks so much I now make my own. Heres how.
Find cardboard-I used a cardboard from a filter package. Old notebook covers work well.
Cut paper to match cardboard size
Paper clip paper to cardboard so that paper does not slide when you use a safety pin to make holes down the spine of the middle of your book
Use needle and thread to sew your book.
Fold over the back cover and staple to make it look like an authentic cahier.
Using the cardboard from a package and paper from a blank paper. Customize your cahier by using different kinds of paper and different size paper

Igloo Making

I used our recycling bin to make the blocks for the igloo. It stands at around 6ft.

Icicle making and snow picture

What to do when it is cold. Make an igloo or a an icicle sculpture illuminated with candles. Find a stream and take pictures.

How to make ice sculpters

Carefully take down icicles from roof.

Arrange design and place tea lights (candles) in design.

Take pictures. Wear gloves I couldn't feel my pinky after lighting the candles
